A2Dominion is a charitable community benefit society and the non-asset holding parent of the group. The group’s strategic focus is on managing and developing social housing. A2dominion provide a range of homes for rent and sale at a price people can afford. They adopt a social model that promises to invest 100% of their profits back into building new homes and providing services, whilst We investing within local communities to ensure their customers learn, get ahead, and have fun together. As published in their annual report for 2021-22 they received 4,564 complaints (11% of residents). 70% of these complaints were dealt with within the 10 day target response time. 95% of a2dominion complaints were dealt with at first stage and only 1% needed to be escalated to the Housing Ombudsmen. There are three stock owning registered providers: A2Dominion Homes Limited (charitable), A2Dominion South Limited (charitable) and A2Dominion Housing Options Limited (non-charitable). The group owns and manages over 39,000 homes in 81 local authority areas across London, the South East and Wiltshire. Its stock is mainly general needs, alongside significant levels of shared ownership housing. It also holds supported/sheltered, student/keyworker, leasehold and private rented stock. For the year ending 31 March 2021, the group reported a turnover of £303m and employed 1,197 full-time equivalent staff. A2Dominion has a target of delivering around 4,300 new homes over 2022-25 and then 900 new homes per year in each of the six years to 2031. This mainly comprises affordable, shared ownership and market sale units (including via joint venture partnerships). A2Dominion is a Homes England investment partner.
